Our Boops for Good Initiative
At Boogs & Boop, we believe in the importance of supporting organizations that make a real difference in the lives of animals and their communities. That's why we've established the Boops for Good community impact program. With each purchase of our high-quality dog accessories, a portion of our proceeds are donated to a different non-profit organization each quarter. We are dedicated to building a brighter future for our four-legged friends and their human companions.
Boogs & Boop’s Donation
For the first quarter of 2024, we're excited to support the Seattle Humane Society, an organization dedicated to providing shelter, veterinary care, and adoption services to pets in need. Since opening their new facility in 2017, Seattle Humane Society has increased their capacity and expanded their support and resources for pet owners, ensuring that every animal that comes through their doors receives the highest quality of care—the medical attention, love, and support they need to thrive.
Seattle Humane is best known for their adoption services, but they also offer extensive community services, including a Pet Food Bank, Pet Owner Assistance Fund, temporary foster program, and Community Medicine services. Nearly 80 percent of their revenue comes from grassroots donations and planned gifts, which allows them to channel resources back into the community every year.
From April 2022 through March 2023, the Seattle Humane Society served more than 88,000 people and their pets. They facilitated 5,688 adoptions, providing forever homes to pets in need. Additionally, they distributed 980,707 meals through the Pet Food Bank, ensuring that pets in low-income households had access to nutritious food.
The selection of Seattle Humane Society as our 2024 Q1 beneficiary was made by the winner of the Boogs & Boop ambassador holiday games. Led by @milladivadoxie and comprised of team members @itsminimilo, @normanthewienerdog, and @scarlett_thecorgi, our dog models were thrilled to have the opportunity to choose a non-profit to support, and they selected Seattle Humane Society for their incredible work in the Pacific Northwest.
How We Made an Impact
By donating to Seattle Humane Society's Greatest Need fund, we provided crucial support for their various programs, including shelter and foster care, community services, lifesaver rescue and animal transfer, veterinary care, and education programs. This flexible fund allows Seattle Humane Society to allocate resources where they are needed most, ensuring that they can continue to provide high-quality care to thousands of animals and offer vital support to pet owners in the community.
